Its name, strongly evocative, refers to the plant that blooms and inundates with yellow the meadows of the Plateau of Cardito, which has always been one of the pastures of our mountains. Since ancient times the shepherds used to lead the flocks of goats and sheep on those pastures the goodness and fragrance of the milk obtained from it. In appearance similar to that of sheep’s, this goat’s ricotta differs widely due to its unmistakable personality, taste and fragrance.
A product of absolute quality, the delicious "Ginestra di Cardito" is highly digestible, rich in vitamins and mineral salts.
